Kindergarten Registration for all Ontario-Montclair School District Schools
Kindergarten registration is underway in the Ontario-Montclair School District. Registration will occur at the home school site. Not sure which is your home school? Enter your address into our School Finder to see in which school's boundaries you reside.
Due to the new State law, a child is eligible to enroll for Kindergarten if she/he will be 5 years old on or before November 1st, 2012. Registration will be taken at the home school site (a physical and dental examination are required).
The following information must be brought with you at the time of registration:
• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Residency
UPDATE - Status of Transitional Kindergarten (TK) for 2012 – 2013In the best interest of our students, Ontario-Montclair School District is implementing Transitional Kindergarten for our eligible children within the regular kindergarten program. Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two year kindergarten program that uses modified kindergarten curriculum that is age and developmentally appropriate. A child is eligible for Transitional Kindergarten if he/she will be turning 5 years old between November 2nd, 2012 and December 2nd, 2012. Transitional Kindergarten students may attend their school of residence.
Please contact your neighborhood school for more information about the Transitional Kindergarten program.
