At the school board meeting on April 21st,  the Ontario-Montclair School  (OMSD) Board of Trustees recognized 2011 Employees of the Year. 

Following a process that was developed with the assistance of the Ontario-Montclair Teachers Association and California School Employees Association Chapter #108, each site and major District department selected both a classified and certificated Employee of the Year nominee.  The winners were selected by lot from these nominations.

Congratulations to  Christina Baty, Arroyo Elementary School Administrative Assistant who was named the classified “Employee of the Year” and Mariadolores Calzada, Euclid Outreach Consultant was named the certificated “Employee of the Year”.

A grand prize of a vacation in Hawaii including airline tickets was awarded to Ms. Baty and Ms. Calzada.  The Hawaiian vacation was donated by Board President Samuel Crowe and the travel arrangements were donated by the Ontario-Montclair School Employees Federal Credit Union.
