Our Mission: Our mission at Edison Elementary School is to develop lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.  Through collaboration and innovative strategies that inspire students to make real world connections, we will accomplish the following goals:  

• Provide an opportunity for all students to experience a challenging educational   program with others who share their enthusiasm for learning
•  Foster the development of critical thinking through the use of Depth and Complexity, Think Like a Disciplinarian, Models of Teaching and Technology
• Facilitate a collaborative spirit between staff, students, parents, and community members, with a common goal of continuous school improvement
• Promote and encourage a passion for lifelong learning through a commitment to actively participate in the learning process
• Establish relationships, connections, and a sense of school pride through the development of a strong school culture
• Support all students in developing healthy self-concepts, responsibility for self and others, sensitivity and constructive ethical standards
